GivingTuesday is a global generosity movement unleashing the power of radical generosity. GivingTuesday was created in 2012 as a simple idea: a day that encourages people to do good. Since then, it has grown into a year-round global movement that inspires hundreds of millions of people to give, collaborate, and celebrate generosity.
This year the City of Ukiah is leading a community wide effort to give back through a viariety of public benefit projects. In collaboration with local businesses and community organizations we’ll have crew leaders available to provide you with the resources and direction to help with a community project. You can choose to help with a trail or community garden, plant a tree or pull weed, pick up garbage or paint over grafitti. We’ll provide a list of volunteer opportunities and you can sign up to help in the area that is most meaningful to you.
